This page is in serious need of an update! Unfortunately, it's the victim of some slight link rot. I'll do better to keep it updated with new and interesting content.
So, here's some of what's here. More will come as I think of it...
To steal a title, (thanks Dannion Brinkley...) What's that fool thinking about this week? Check out my Livejournal page and see! (That is, if you really want to know...)
I'm an active (well, somewhat active, anyway) ham radio operator. What's that, you ask? Aren't those those weird guys that talk to aliens? (I mean, that's sorta the premise behind ALF, right?) Umm...well...not exactly. ... Find out what it's all about.
I'm a proud member of the American Radio Relay League and of the Flying Pigs QRP Club. (Don't ask me why we're flying pigs, but it's a fun group anyway.) You might also find QRZ.com interesting...I know I do. And AC6V's site has pert near anything you'd ever want to know on ham radio!
The death of the International morse Code has been greatly exaggerated. It's alive and well, and there are many hams who still enjoy it (including this one). To see some of the ways that we're enjoying the code, you might check out the North American QRP CW Club and the National Radio Emergency Network.
I sometimes wonder if I wasn't born in the wrong time? I mean...old vacuum tube technology...old radio broadcasts...that era just fascinates me.
Here's a list of stuff that might be interesting. If you love OTR (old-time radio) or even if you've never heard of it...why not have a look?
You have more interesting OTR/pulp links you like? let me know and I'll check em out. :)
Visit some of my friends. They're diverse people with diverse opinions and interests. :)
More to come, I'm sure, at some point or other. ... Stay tuned. Visit early and often.
